With the Apex Legends Global Series Championship done, we are here with a great recap!
With the previous roster disbanding, we had lost our qualification spot to the ALGS Championship, and we only had one chance to make it through.
The Last Chance Qualifier consisted of a top 8 qualification, and both Brans and Elysium came in with a statement. We Started with a 15 kill win and kept the hype going through the whole tournament, the new team showed great determination and finished the LCQ in 1st place.
Once in finals we had our focus on the biggest tournament of the year, the best teams in the region competing for $176.000 USD as initial prize pool but a total of $338.000+ due to skins revenue share added across all regions.
The tournament started with 12 rounds in the group stage, top 1 of each group and top 17 overall made it through finals.
We lead group B from the start, and qualified directly to finals with 161 points, making us the second-place team overall, it was a great first step for the tournament and we were feeling confident for the final challenge.
Now in finals we had a good start on the games, getting very close to the 50 point “Match-point” range in round 5, but a fight at the wrong place costs us precious needed points. We continued moving forward and tried to get the needed win to be crowned South American Champions, we were not able to close the last 2 rounds and in the end Paradox Esports beat us to it.
We finished the tournament in 6th place overall, taking home a $10.000 USD prize pool.
This roster has proven its great potential, we will make some adjustments and keep improving for the next competitive season.
See you soon.
