Due to the restructuring of the company behind SNG we’ve mutually agreed to part ways with two of our active managers, to assist them in their pursuit of getting a full-time job in esports and gaming.
Right now there’s of course some transitioning period from handing over previous responsibilities to new hands and due to the summer holidays, but from the start of August both managers will continue their esport and gaming journey somewhere else in the esports ecosystem.
“Both managers have been with us for more than a year, and it’s been a huge pleasure working closely with both. I on behalf as the organization and myself wish both managers the best going forward, and I’m sure they’ll both find prosperous homes to pursue their dreams and goals within esports and gaming.” Atle S. Stehouwer, CEO, Team Singularity
David Pella, former Senior Manager had this to say:
“I started my journey with Singularity Overwatch back on March 1st 2017 and first success of winning CPH games 2017 in both, overwatch and csgo then to later on becoming the manager of the Dota2 team with a good run in results and the Zotac finals in Taipei June 2017 then becoming one of the senior managers in August 2017, all good things have to come to an end. It’s been an emotional ride throughout my time with Singularity and probably one of the best in my career in esports so far. I’ve met a bunch of new people and ofcourse old people, as well as made a good bunch of new friends. This is probably the most toughest decision of mine leaving the organization, but there is no other option for me at this point, there is a few things that I need to get rid off in my personal life and health. Singularity and especially Atle had always been more than just a job, it felt like a family and a lot of people had told me to change the #SNGARMY hashtag to #SNGFAMILY since when you’re in Singularity , it doesn’t feel like a normal „job“ its a lot of dedicated work in a family atmosphere. I want to thank our fans for the dedicated support throughout the years, I also want to thank our old and new sponsors for the amazing support. Last but not least, I want to say thanks to Atle for being one of the best bosses and friends in esports. Hopefully our ways will cross again in near future.“
Arian Irfan, former academy manager + graphic designer + SoMe assistant manager:
“Dear SNGARMY,
Today is the day I officially depart from Team Singularity (SNG). I joined back in 2017 after CPHG when we still had a danish team and I was looking forward to work with a sick management and good teams. After we lost them, me and Atle created a home for the new CS:GO team lead by the swedish players Bendji, Sayf and Robiin.
From that point on we had such a great time featuring many people such as Barbarr, Anton and the rest of the guys, it’s too many to count them all now. The big project of the academy teams, which I lead, was a very amazing experience as well, but I’m sure Atle will do that as good as me on his own. My time in here ends now and I’m looking for new adventures and new challenges, I wish SNG and the guys the best and I will stay a friend of them forever. Thanks for the nice time!”
GL HF David and Arian, we hope our paths may cross again in the future! <3
