Detain benched

POSTED BY Webmaster March 4, 2021

Today we are making the first necessary moves to stabilize our Call of Duty team that has had an underwhelming start to the 2021 Cold War season.

This means that Jed ‘Detain’ Mulcahy has been benched officially, and we are currently exploring our short and long-term options in terms of replacement and correlating to our overall Call of Duty ambitions.

The past weekend we played with Trei ‘Zer0’ Morris in the Challengers Cup #8 as a replacement for Jed, and Trei will also be playing the upcoming tournaments and cups until a permanent decision will be made in regard to the replacement.

“This whole benching process has me in two separate minds, on one side I’m slightly frustrated it had to be me, but if it was in the best interest of the team then that’s all that matters, on the other hand I’m optimistic about the future, and I feel like it’ll be a breath of fresh air to potentially be around some new faces.”

“I’m sad to bench Jed from the team as he’s been grinding with the team for the past two years, but due to the rough start to the season this year then hard decisions has to be made for the good of the team and organization, hopefully we can turn around our underwhelming start of the season into an overwhelming end to the season.”
