POSTED BY Webmaster December 18, 2021

After an incredibly strong performance in the league, where we finished 2nd behind Brøndby IF, we qualified for the eSuperliga Finals. Despite a rough start, where we only managed to pick up 2 points after three games, we managed to turn it around and showed that we are among the best teams in Denmark.

In the quarter-final, we went up against FC Midtjylland. The series was a draw after the two first games, meaning that we had to play a third and decisive game. OneWayCrazyy was chosen and stepped up and won us the game, putting
us through to the semi-final against Lyngby BK!

  • Results vs FC Midtjylland:
  • TeamHajj vs Jenner (0-0)
  • OneWayCrazyy vs Bækkelund (1-1)
  • OneWayCrazyy vs Jenner (4-0)

In the semi-final, we faced Lyngby BK. Lyngby are well-known for giving young players the chance to prove themselves, and this season was no difference. The series was won 2-0, as we made our way into the final! It was not without any drama, as TeamHajj went behind with two goals. However, diamonds are made under pressure and TeamHajj made the comeback, securing us a place in the Final!

  • Results vs Lyngby BK:
  • OneWayCrazyy vs Folmer (2-0)
  • TeamHajj vs Juul (5-2)

We faced Vejle BK (Tricked Esport) in the Grand Final. Whereas the games in the quarter- and semi-finals was decided on aggregate scores, the final would be decided in a best of three. TeamHajj won the first series, whereas OneWayCrazyy unfortunately lost on penalties. That meant we had to go into a third and decisive series in the Grand Final. After going 0-1 down after just 6 minutes, OneWayCrazyy made the comeback and won the game 3-2!

Lasse “OneWayCrazyy” Kristiansen, FIFA player, Team Singularity

“I am very happy to finally win the eSuperliga. It has been my main goal since I joined SNG last year, hence why I am incredibly proud of the team and myself to bring home the trophy. Though I did not play in the Finals, I tried my best to help the guys during all of the games. I had a lot of talks with the guys in between the games. It really feels like a team-accomplishment, and I am very proud of each and every one on the team”
