As we went into 2021, we had the goal of starting the Team Singularity Fortnite Academy, with the goal of starting a platform that many young talents can work through and grow with the support of the organization. In the early stages of 2021, with the start of the Fortnite Academy, we signed two of the highest potential players in Europe and Brazil. We welcome Tomii and Lukkss to Team Singularity with the ambition and focus of helping them both grow into superstars, both with how they present themselves as role models and as players striving to reach the heights of competitive Fortnite. The year started strong for our Brazilian roster as we also turned our heads towards producing content with fast growing talented creators in the region.

With tournaments not being as consistently occurring as 2020, we were grateful to receive an invitation to FNCS Showdown in June 2020. KING was able to place 39th overall, earning a total of $1,750. Diguera was also able to place at the event, placing 55th, earning $1,000. Frans found himself in 83rd, earning $500 which would make Team Singularity’s earning at the event a total of $2,250. We were proud of the team, and we see them moving forward placing even higher in the future. Read about FNCS Showdown here – https://teamsingularity.com/fncs-showdown/

In March 2021, FNCS Trio Finals came around and the most feared trio in King, Cadu and Seeyun took center stage. The team absolutely dominated the tournament, proving that the work and faith we put into the team was paying off, as they went onto claim the trophy, earning a total of $75,000, and providing KING with his first ever major tournament win. In April, King went onto compete in the Gamers Club Cup. He placed a very respectable 6th place, taking home $600.

In the same month, we then made the decision to sign Mariana, a Fortnite Content Creator from Brazil. Mariana has become very supported on social media, especially with her TikTok. As she continues to grow, we continue to support her with her journey, and Mariana has been a great asset to Team Singularity ever since becoming a part of the team, and we only see her growing more and more heading into 2022.

With the main focus still being towards competition and being the number one team in Brazil, we were fortunate enough to acquire the signings of Diguera, Frans and Kitoz in May 2021. The announcement of these three incredibly talented players bolstered us to the number one ranking organisation in the region by a very large distance of second.

Moving into the second half of 2021, we added JohnCris7 to our content creation team. JohnCris has over 200k subscribers on YouTube alone and we are delighted to be able to work with a large influencer like himself.

Heading into the later stages of the year, we acquired the signings of Wizeira & KBR. Wizeira worked extremely hard and completed our academy programme and earned himself a professional contract. KBR has been growing rapidly this year with content and his competitive stature, and we fully expect them both to pushing towards the top of the leaderboards next year.

Following the success of the Fortnite team in 2021, we are very happy with the team, and we vision their potential breaking through in the coming months. 2022 will be a very important year for the team, and we cannot wait to get involved even more than we already are.
