Following a fight in ESEA Advanced, Freo from the CS:GO team sat down to answer some questions and give some insight into how the CS:GO team are doing:
Q – At the end of the season, the team required 2 final wins in the final two games to retain the ESEA Advanced spot. What was the teams mentality heading into these final two games?
A – “We were calm; we knew why we losing. Probably when we were on a 7-game loss streak, we won only one pistol round IN 7 FULL MATCHES. 1 of 14 and losing 2 OTs. But it happens, and also we were doing a lot of very small mistakes. We were strong because we are aware of our skill.”
Q – During warm-up sessions for your games, did you feel more prepared when you used the GamerTech Magma glove and do you think it benefitted your performance?
A – “GamerTech Magma is awesome for warming up because it’s giving heat! No more cold hands! I had a huge difference between when I warmed up with the glove and when I didn’t, and I’m so glad I had GamerTech’s Magma glove available to me during the tough games”
Q – Team Singularity re-entered CS:GO back in February, how do you feel things have gone so far?
A – “I think in RMR quals, we were doing great but after that we just start losing everything, but it’s okay. It’s part of the game. Losing? Keep grinding and stay calm. We have shown we can fights equal with strong HLTV teams also beating HONORIS in Bo3 was quite good, because we don’t like playing against other Polish guys.”
Q – You’ve successfully retained the spot in ESEA Advanced, knowing this, what are your goals for the next ESEA season?
A – “Our goal? Improving the game and making progress. ESEA system is little bit random. Making playoffs would be great but the most important for us is showing up more on HLTV.”
Q – What are your short and long-term goals and how do you plan to reach them?
“Keep working, we know how to work, how to fix mistakes. We just have to work hard. Joking…we’re in the waiting room for CS2 hahahaha.“
