Godsmilla benched

POSTED BY Webmaster April 26, 2020

“Obviously, it was heartbreaking for me to hear that Noly and Tho are wanting to tryout a different 3rd to see if they work better with someone else, but I respect that decision and wish them luck in the Spring Series.

Personally, I’ve been trying out with various players in hopes of building a strong pick-up team to play in the Spring Series with.”

Leon “Godsmilla” Mares

“With the off season starting, Noly and Tho are trying new players in place of Godsmilla to look for the best team possible coming in to the next season of RLCS. They will be trying out Mognus during the spring series, and will make a permenant decision after the tournament. Godsmilla is still an option as he has performed well with the team in the past, and is currently improving individually on his own in the offseason.”

Jake “Jake” Edwards

“With the spring series coming up the starting roster of the Team Singularity Rocket League team will be Noly, Tho and Mognus. During this time, Godsmilla is going to take place on the bench and is free to try out with other teams for the spring series qualifier. He is still contracted to SNG and able to do individual training sessions with Jake.

After the spring series, the team will make a permanent decision which player will be the new 3rd for the upcoming RLCS season 10 later this year. We are looking forward to the spring series and wish Godsmilla all the best for the qualifier as well!”

Jonas “vel” Schaffrick

“It’s never a pleasure to bench a great talent like Godsmilla, but I respect that the team wants to tryout their options for the next RLCS season, and with the new Spring series announced earlier this month the team has a good possibility to do this. The team decision means that we’ve decided to bench Godsmilla from the active team and will reevaluate the decision after the spring series.”
