Loan Agreed: Gismo

POSTED BY Grauling May 11, 2022

We are excited to announce that Joey “Gismo” Owen will be competing with our European Call of Duty team for the upcoming Elite Series and Toronto Major event at the start of next month. Gismo has been loaned from the London Royal Ravens, and we would like to thank them for making this a possibility as it has been short notice since the Pro-Am.

The Toronto ULTRA Academy EU roster competed with Rafi as a stand-in for the Call of Duty League Pro-Am Classic this weekend. You can read our report regarding that event here(link).

The Elite Series starts tonight at 20:00 CEST, and will see both the Toronto ULTRA Academy NA and the Toronto ULTRA Academy EU rosters competing. Our Toronto ULTRA Academy NA roster remains unchanged.

Toronto ULTRA Academy EU Roster:

  • Ben “Beans” McMellon
  • Liam “Furiious” Osborne
  • Stephen “Vortex” Allan
  • Joey “Gismo” Owen
  • Joshua-Lee “Joshh” Sheppard

Toronto ULTRA Academy NA Roster:

  • Charlie “Hiicksy” Hicks
  • Mohak “Mohak” Kumar
  • Thomas “Scrappy” Ernst
  • Javier “Vikul” Milagro
  • Charles “Mystvc” Johnston

“I am excited to be back playing and with some of my closest mates. Thank you to the London Royal Ravens for allowing this opportunity. I am super excited to compete in the upcoming Elite Series.”

Joey “Gismo” Owen, Call of Duty Player

“I am very happy to have our quick solution for the Elite Series being none other than Joey. Joey has proven his ability to compete at the highest level this year, and I am very grateful to London Ravens for allowing this to be a possibility”
