Today we can happily our new CS:GO SE academy team, and this time we’ve decided to try a new structure working actively together with a dedicated school focused on creating tomorrows next talents in the Swedish scene.
All the players live at the school, Strömbäcks Folkhögskola, which hopefully can help the development of their talents at a higher rate than if they were split out. Having the structure of an education behind the academy team is something we wanted to try for a long time, and hopefully this is just the start of a new chapter in our academy structure. We believe this structure will bring more disciplin within the academy division and in the end will lead to more success and achievements.

“What is your expectations for the contract you have signed with Team Singularity?”
We’re looking forward to an awesome relationship with Team Singularity and to reach our dreams together.
“What’s the goal for the team within the next year?”
To become a top 8 contender in Sweden, to grow as a team together and chase our dreams and really show the world who we actually are.
“How would you rank the team currently looking at the swedish scene?”
Honestly this one is hard one to call since there are so many teams in Sweden at the moment… But an educated guess would be around 10th place.
“You just started at Strömbäcks Folkhögskola with a full focus on esport, and you live together with your teammates, do you think this will help you reach your goals faster?”
Yes absolutely. We’re not only a team in-game but we’re also a team outside of the game, which is a chemistry alot of teams lack in the scene if you ask me. We’re all here to grow as individuals and as players, the fact that we have that established and the respect for one and other there is no doubt between us.
“What do you think about the Swedish CS:GO scene? Both the good and the bad.”
The swedish scene is a really wierd one… We have a really good infrastructure and talent development within the scene but it’s tainted by cheating accusations and young players who frankly waste their talent because they can’t get their head right.
“What events are you looking forward to participate in for the coming period with Singularity and Strömbäcks Folkhögskola?”
CPH Games 2019, Birdie 29 and of course defending the title at Dreamhack Winter 2018 are the main focus for us this term.
