We managed to secure the 16th and only open spot in The Grid with our run through the EU Regional Event 1 Qualifier. During our run through the bracket we managed to beat “Magnifico“, “Monkeys“ and “Fadeaway“ securing a spot in the final through the winnner bracket. Although our team had to admit defeat against “Libertas“, we secured ourselves a GRID spot as the best performing team in the qualifier without an invite for it and a spot in the 1st regional event!
In the first stage we managed to beat “Triple Trouble“ 3:0, lost to “Top Blokes“ 0:3 and finished the swiss group with 2 sweeps against “Drillers and Trappers“ and “Fadeaway“.
“I’m super confident in this new team and seeing the team progress through the qualifier and Stage 1 was a great pleasure! I’m looking forward to the coming weekend where we’ll compete in Stage 2 of the regional event and for top 8 in EU”.
Jonas “vel” Schaffrick, Rocket League team manager, Team Singularity
“The qualifier was expected pretty easy and breezed through most of the teams not really struggling too much. In stage 1 we played outstanding and we were all happy with our performances and looking forward to compete for top 8 in Europe.”
George “Breezi” Rusiecki, Rocket League player, Team Singularity
With our team’s immediate return into the upper tier of Europe’s Rocket Leauge Pro Scene, Team Singularity is instantly back in the game, fighting for glory with the new Rocket League roster.
“Since coaching has started with these guys things have gone insanely well. They all take in everything like sponges and instantly improve on what we discuss as a team. Very proud of the guys qualifying for the GRID, and keen to see what we can do in the future.”
Jake “Jake” Edwards, Rocket League coach, Team Singularity
