We managed to secure the 16th and only open spot in The Grid with our run through the EU Regional Event 1 Qualifier. During our run through the bracket we managed to beat “Magnifico“, “Monkeys“ and “Fadeaway“ securing a spot in the final through the winner bracket. Although our team had to admit defeat against “Libertas“, we secured ourselves a The Grid spot as the best performing team in the qualifier without an invite for it and a spot in the 1st regional event!
In the first stage we managed to beat “Triple Trouble“ 3:0, lost to “Top Blokes“ 0:3 and finished the swiss group with 2 sweeps against “Drillers and Trappers“ and “Fadeaway“. I am looking forward to the next weekend were we will compete in Stage 2 of the regional event.
“Qualifying for the GRID was insanely hype for us and was the first real big performance as a team together and it showed a real sign of what’s to come.”George “Breezi” Rusiecki, Rocket League player, Team Singularity
