Reclaiming Our Crown

POSTED BY Webmaster April 1, 2022

We are back.

Call of Duty LAN events for CDC Challengers has returned after a long hiatus and there’s no better place to return than Minnesota. Having been the last CDC Challengers Champions in Minnesota, it only feels right that we are there to defend our crown.

Team Singularity x Toronto Ultra have come together to build a forceful partnership in which we aim to conquer both European and North American regions.

This weekend both of our rosters will be competing for the $75,000 prize pool and bragging rights as this is the first opportunity to prove to the world that we are two of the best teams globally.

With high expectations from management and both sets of players, we are very excited with how this weekend is going to unfold. A top 4 finish for both teams would be a huge success and there is definitely no reason as to why we could not win the whole event. Action starts in a couple of hours, in which we will keep you all updated on our Twitter.

We have missed this feeling!

“One of our main successes over the past 2 years has been in Call of Duty. With unfortunate endings to our long successful reign as the top 1 / 2 of Europe, to leave the game title was sad. Now we are back and looking to go further than before. I wish both teams the best luck this weekend and fingers crossed they don’t match at any stage other than the Grand Finals.”

Curtis Bottomley CGO & Head of Europe

“It’s been a while since any LANs have happened, but it’s good to be back. The team are prepared and ready for the passion pit and we have high aspirations on how this tournament will pan out.”

Joshua-Lee “BSport” Sheppard, EU COD Coach

“I’m excited to feel the environment of LAN again. The team is locked in and confident, we’ve been putting in the long hours of hard work and are excited to showcase it to everyone.”

Charles “Mystvc” Johnston, NA COD Coach
