The road to GLL Season 4
After our first appearance in Stockholm for the GLL Grandslam we could not end the year how we wanted. We had our ups and downs and finally decided to make a big adjustment for 2020.
We brought in kODAk1d, winner of the Wingman VIII and Wingman PRO-, previously restricted to the competitive scene because of being underage, but now 18 and hungry for greatnes. We also brought in Harald one of the best in the region that competed against us in the GLL Grandslam, who won the ESL LA League Season 4 and showed his expertise in the PUBG Global Championship. They joined p0me, and quick for the 2020 PUBG roster of Team Singularity.
The first step was to test how good we were internationally and recognize obstacles that come with any new project.
We were invited to the 303 esports Pro League that had some of the best teams from North America, Europe, Latin-America and Oceania. Through scrims and later the tournament we slowly improved and adapted to the playstyle needed to find success.
We felt ready, but when the time came to prove how good we were we fell short by one point for the PGS Latam qualifier. We were destroyed and mostly frustrated because most of the games we didn’t perform where due to small mistakes that were easy to fix but we didn’t get enough time to polish them and it cost us a lot.
But there was no time to sob, next weekend we had GLL Season 4 qualifiers and we were not going to let that chance fly by. The team brushed off the feelings of failure and worked extremely hard to patch things up. After the first day of the tournament, the leaderboard was extremely close, and it continued like that until the very last day. We manage to pull through with a third place, capitalizing on what we could and racking up enough kills to beat the tiebreaker on the last match.
We now are heading to GLL Season 4 in Stockholm with high hopes, and we are confident that with our experienced and talented team we can get Team Singularity to the top.
See you soon!

GLL Season 4
