It is always a great experience to attend LAN events and meet the teammates in real life. Sadly we had way too few of these moments during 2020 because of Covid-19. This is why we feel even happier to have our Rocket League team bootcamping at the Team Singularity headquarters in Copenhagen!
The bootcamp started with a RLCS X – The Grid match day on Tuesday. Breezi and hibbs arrived at the facility while Godsmilla missed his connection flight because his first flight was delayed. Super-sub Stealth showed up on the field, scored some amazing goals, but sadly we could not win our first game against Dignitas and we dropped down in the Losers’ Bracket. Meanwhile Godsmilla arrived in Copenhagen and the team started with a sweep against Triple Trouble. In the Losers’ Finals, we almost reverse swept Oxygen Esports but we lost to them in a close fifth game.
Our bootcamp did not start as we expected it, but everyone was impressed of the facility and happy to meet each other. The next days the team used the time for some good scrims, coaching sessions and a media day. Everyone has a lot of fun and feels very confident for the upcoming EU RLCS Regional. It is a very important tournament for us since it will decide if we will make it to the EU Major next month.
This bootcamp will give Godsmilla, Breezi and hibbs the needed energy and chemistry to achieve their goals and grow as a team in general. Also super motivator and CEO of Team Singularity Atle strengthens their backs in this upcoming crucial regional event!
“It has been a pleasure working with the team from Day 1 and now we finally had the chance to meet at our facilities and get to know each other better! I have a lot of faith that the team will bond even further with this experience and find the consistency they need to take their game to the next level!”
