Over the weekend, the announcement went live in terms of Thomas “Scrappy” Ernst as he has been warranted a “call-up” in regards to joining Toronto Ultra’s main roster.
Although this means nothing in terms of the upcoming Pro-AM, Scrappy has signed a professional contract which will allow him to directly be involved in the main team if the decision is made to swap him for another player. Scrappy now joins Insight and CleanX as yet another Team Singularity prodigy to go into the CDL franchise.
Scrappy, who was arguably the MVP and the most talked about player at the Minnesota Challengers event, deserves the opportunity and we are very glad it was Toronto Ultra who acted instinctively as we would not want to lose him to any other organisation.
“Thank you to Team Singularity for everything they’ve done for me. It means the absolute world and I’ll never forget the opportunity they gave to me. I have the utmost respect for all at SNG.. I’m excited to represent them at the Pro-AM event coming up and seeing what the future holds.”Scrappy, Call of Duty Player
“I’m very pleased to see our academy system and overall partnership with ULTRA working this well, and I’m happy to see Thomas getting the opportunity as a sub for the ULTRA main team.”Atle Stehouwer, CRO and Founder
“I am extremely happy with the progression Scrappy has made since his arrival with the team at the beginning of 2022. Thomas is one of the most passionate individuals I have ever met and I am grateful he has been given the opportunity to showcase his talent at the highest level. With Pro-AM coming up, I am very interested in how Scrappy will perform.”Curtis Bottomley CGO and Head of Europe
