SNG Racing Recap

POSTED BY Grauling October 12, 2019

The summer is finally over and with the simracing season starting over; let us make a recap of the successes achieved by Singularity Racing during these 3 months of existence!

We started with the 24h of Le Mans, last race of the Virtual Endurance Championship (VEC). We presented the first Singularity car to the world. The Oreca LMP2, driven by Jordy Zwiers, Matteo Caruso and Devin Braune, managed to finish in first position, leading from start to finish, in front of well-known teams such as ACR and BHR.

After such an incredible start, we focused on WFG, where Yuri Kasdorp and Jordy Zwiers qualified for the main race with a prize pool of 10.000€. All the big names were there and the pace was looking good. Sadly for us, qualifying did not go as planned, placing Yuri in 11th position and Jordy in 8th. They still managed to climb back to p7 and p6 respectively, bringing home 1350€.

In August, thanks to the results of our team, Singularity Racing has been invited to WorldProRacing’s GT3 Masters. A GT3 league with a prize pool of 1800€. Being a team league, we signed up two Aston Martin GT3 driven by Yuri Kasdorp and Martin Dyrlund. The first race already took place and placed Singularity Racing on top of the leaderboard thanks to Yuri’s P1 and Martin’s P3.
