It is with sad and unfortunate news that we announce the departure of Elysium from Team Singularity’s competitive APEX Legends roster.
Felipe has been a key component of the success of the teams long reining, championship winning formula and will be a very big miss. We can not put into words how grateful we are as an organisation to have been able to host a player of Felipe’s talent for almost 2 years.
Today will be a very sad day for us all at Team Singularity, and we hope that the retirement plans of Elysium treats him well.
“It was an honour to be part of the best team South America has ever produced. Unfortunately I’m taking another way today but the memories will be always on my heart, thanks everyone for the support you guys gave me along these years”– Felipe “Elysium” Zapata, Former Professional Apex Legends Player for Team Singularity
“It’s not been easy to accept the departure of Elysium but if his desire is away from Apex, I will not stop him from achieving his goals in life. Elysium wasn’t just the greatest fragger in the history of South America, he was an absolute legend to work with and call a friend. We will all miss him a lot and we hope he knows the effect he has had on our lives and as an organisation. Good luck with your future manito”– Curtis Bottomley, Head of Esports at Team Singularity
