ThomasHD and klusia have qualified for the Fortnite World Cup after less than one week of playing as a Duo! We sat down with them to ask a few questions about the qualifying process and the World Cup!

Try to describe the feelings that went through your body when the final scoreboard was locked in and you found out that you had qualified for the Fortnite World Cup finals in NY.
I couldn’t believe it! Especially because I’ve been playing with my duo, Klusia for less than one week by that time! It felt surreal!
Klusia and you have only played together for just under a week’s time, can you tell us how you came together?
Before I played with klusia I was playing with bastholm. After 4 weeks with Bast I was not so impressed. Then we sat some guys on discord and I had said that I could think of a new duo for the last week. Then someone said I should try to write to Klusia. Klusia immediately wrote to his duo and I wrote to my duo that we played last week together.
Have you ever been to the US before? What is your expectation / goal for WC Finals?
I’ve never been to the US so it’s exciting! I can’t wait to see New York as I heard a lot of nice things about the city! As for the WC Finals I hope we can get a Top 5; even though the tournament will be stacked, I believe in our chance!
How are you going to prepare for the WC Finals?
Right now, the goal is to play together as often as possible and to attend all the possible tournaments! As we are one of the freshest duos, we need to better our synergy so we can be at our best when the World Cup comes around!

Try to describe the feelings that went through your body when the final scoreboard was locked in and you found out that you had qualified for the Fortnite World Cup finals in NY!
It was an indescribable feeling, probably the sickest thing I felt in my life! It was nerve wracking and getting more intense as we dropped from a 2nd place to a 6th without being able to play anymore. So, we had to sit for like 20 minutes, but when the final scoreboard showed that we had qualified for the World Cup I just froze for a second and then realized what we actually achieved in that night!
What is the secret to both qualifying in solo and duo?
The most important part is believing in yourself! And then of course, you need to have that day where things go your way! All the lobbies where so stacked that any small mistake could cause you to drop from your qualifying spot!

Th0masHD caught my interest by showing good results and knows that he has always been a good player! So, when he reached out to me asking to play the last week together it was really a no-brainer!
Have you ever been to the US before? What is your expectation / goal for WC Finals?
I have never been to the United States before so I’m very excited to travel to New York City for the event! My goal for the World Cup Finals is to get a Top 20 in solo and Top 10 in Duo!
Do you see yourself as Denmark’s best player? If you disregard yourself and Thomas, which 5 other Danish players do you think have shown their potential in the WC qualification?
I don’t see myself as Denmark’s best player, but up there! If I were to pick 5 players if would the following:
