We have chosen to expand our FIFA department by hiring a FIFA manager, who will handle all tasks within the FIFA department, where we are represented in the eSuperliga in collaboration with Randers FC.
Our new coach is Jacob Timothy Nielsen-Gee, 24 years old and from Randers, Denmark. He is transferring from Tricked Esport, where he has worked as an academy coach for the past year and a half. There he has, among other things, had players participating in the ‘Talentligaen’ and ‘Rookie League’ with great success. In addition, he has also been responsible for coaching the players through their FGS Qualifiers, which are ongoing throughout the FIFA season.
We’ve sat down with Jacob to have a talk about being the new FIFA manager for Team Singularity as well as the expectations for the rest of the season.
“First of all, I am incredibly happy and grateful to have been given this opportunity. Being allowed to work for Team Singularity is a huge opportunity, and I was not a second in doubt when I was offered the position as the FIFA manager of SNG. The players all have huge potentials and I look forward to getting started with the boys and running for the rest of the season.”
Jacob Timothy Nielsen
The competitive season this year has been affected by Covid-19, which has also meant fewer tournaments. Therefore, it is also incredibly important that the boys are spot on, when we get to the final qualifier in April. However, the only focus right now is to prepare the players for the upcoming season of the danish eSuperliga. After last season’s performance from the guys, it is clear that the goal is Top 5 and finals. If we do not get the direct qualification from Top 4, then we will be in the best possible situation where we can choose our opponent. When we hit the finals, there is only one thing that counts – the trophy.
“I’m very pleased to welcome Gee into the SNG family, and I’m confident he’s the missing piece in our FIFA puzzle to elevate our results. I’m impressed by Jacob’s previous work and I hope he’ll shine bright with the team in the upcoming S6 of eSuperliga, that’s starting at the end of this month.”
