We are excited to announce that Linus “Limpone” Wecksell will be joining Team Singularity! Through the years Linus has been active in the CS:GO scene as a player but decided to make a transition to a coaching/analyst position.
“First off, I just want to say I am so thankful for this opportunity! I wanted to prove that I can be an asset to a team for a while now, and I think this team is the perfect start! I am glad Singularity decided to give me an attempt to show what I am made of a few months ago, and ever since things have been running smoothly.
My role in the team is to find as many areas of improvement as possible, but also finding ways to easily improve on those areas for the team. However, when there are important games coming up I will also review & prepare them for their upcoming matches with the help of MAC of course.
I get to do the fun job of finding flaws & ways to fix them, while MAC is the one who actually sits in practice every day making sure the team is on the right track, but it’s a good model because I think he’s doing a very good job!
Getting to know the team now that we’ve worked together for some time just makes me more passionate about it. Knowing I’m working for hard-working and humble players really motivates me, I want to succeed but mostly because they deserve it. They’re by far some of the best players I know in terms of how to deal with critique & going forward. Our goal for this year is not just to reach a top 30 ranking, but also to manage to maintain it. That’s what we’re working towards right now.
Last year was pretty rough for me, I had to do a lot of thinking about where I wanted to take my career further. I came to the conclusion I had more to offer a team as a coach/analyst rather than being an actual player.”

“Linus came in with the right attitude and mindset to the team and it’s safe to say that his work has been reflected in the performance of the squad! I am happy to have him in Team Singularity and I am looking forward to watching the CS:GO team improve and grind the ranks!”
